So in the meantime, a small update.
Tons of horse-y things happened this weekend, but unfortunately I wasn't able to go to any of them which was sad. The Inavale HT was this weekend and originally I planned on at least going to watch since I couldn't ride this year, but wasn't able to make it happen unfortunately. There was also a big dressage show in California three friends drove down to show at. They were the group I went to the first show of the year with and I really wanted to go since they're a fun group and it sounds like it was a really fun show!
Then JF had the first show in the series of trail competitions which I really wanted to go to! You have to go to two of the three shows to qualify for final awards, but I will hopefully have sold Misty by then... Which leads me to my biggest piece of news: Misty is officially for sale. I know most bloggers aren't located in Oregon but if you happen to be, pass the word on and contact me with questions/link to the ad!
Today I had a quick ride on Misty. I was dying from the heat. I can't handle 88 degrees. I melt. So it was short and sweet before I rinsed her off and put her away. I wasn't feeling up for another hot ride so I just lunged Jetta, hosed her off and put her away too. It's supposed to continue to be really hot this week and of course I work all week in the morning so I won't have time to ride beforehand so I'll just have to suck it up and melt.
Oops. Overfilled Jetta's water today so she had a nice little lake in her paddock! |
Could you send me a link to the ad? My email address is knirobe@gmail.com I don't live out your way, but I have a lot of cousins that do :)
ReplyDeleteAw, wish I could get a second and Misty was way bigger. She's my kind of horse!
ReplyDeleteA nice swimming hole for her!
